HighGear Velocity is operated by High Gear Webworx LLC ("HGW"). This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect: (a) account information you provide (name, email, dealership, phone); (b) content you upload (inventory photos, listings, customer notes); (c) connection tokens for third-party platforms (Facebook, Instagram, DMS providers) — stored encrypted; (d) usage data such as logins, posts, and analytics events.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to operate and improve the Service, generate AI listing copy, route posts to selected platforms, send transactional notifications, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share with: (a) service providers (hosting, analytics, AI infrastructure) under confidentiality; (b) third-party platforms you connect, per your authorization; (c) authorities when required by law.
5. Data Handling & Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest where applicable. Third-party access tokens are encrypted with per-record keys. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel and audited.
6. Retention
We retain account data for the lifetime of your subscription plus a reasonable period to comply with legal and operational requirements. You may request deletion at any time.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
9. Third-Party Platforms
When you connect Facebook, Instagram, or a DMS provider, their terms and privacy policies also apply. We only request the minimum scopes needed to operate the Service.
10. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
