Data Deletion Instructions
Effective date: July 8, 2026
HighGear Velocity users can request deletion of account information, dealership user data, and connected-platform data associated with Facebook, Instagram, or other authorized integrations. These instructions explain how to submit a request and what happens next.
How to Request Deletion
- Email support@highgearvelocity.com from the email address connected to your HighGear Velocity account.
- Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request.
- Include your name, dealership name, account email, and whether you want your user account deleted, connected-platform data deleted, or both.
- If you are requesting deletion for a dealership, we may need to verify that you are authorized to make that request for the business.
Facebook and Instagram Data
If you connected Facebook or Instagram to HighGear Velocity, you can request deletion of the related access tokens, Page selections, usernames, account identifiers, and publishing connection records by emailing us. You may also remove HighGear Velocity from your Facebook or Instagram account settings, including Facebook's Business Integrations or Apps and Websites settings where available.
What We Delete
After verification, we will delete or anonymize personal account data and connected-platform data that is no longer needed to provide the Service. This may include user profile details, invitation records, saved social account connection records, encrypted access tokens, selected Page records, support metadata, and related account preferences.
What May Be Retained
Some records may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal, tax, accounting, billing, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backup, or compliance purposes. Dealership business records, posts, vehicle listings, audit history, and approved content may also need to remain available to the dealership unless an authorized dealership administrator requests broader deletion.
Response Timing
We will review deletion requests after verifying the requester and will respond within a reasonable time. If more information is needed to verify the request or identify the account, we will contact the requester using the email provided.
